Buenos Aires, January 14 (NA) – President Javier Milei received this Wednesday the credentials of the ambassador of Italy, Fabrizio Nicoletti, who thus formally began his mission in Buenos Aires. The ceremony took place in the White Hall of the Casa Rosada, where the head of state was accompanied by Foreign Minister Pablo Quirno, confirmed the Argentine News Agency. Nicoletti will represent the Italian government led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, one of Milei's main international allies due to the ideological synchrony between them. The day before, Nicoletti had held a meeting with Minister of Economy Luis Caputo, who highlighted 'the importance that the agreement between Mercosur and the European Union will have to increase exports and the level of investment between Argentina and Italy'.
